I’m a writer and teacher based in Baltimore.

My work appears in Barrelhouse, Brevity, Swamp Pink, and Best Small Fictions. As a repeat performer in the live storytelling show Mortified, I’ve shared my middle school diaries with an audience of strangers; one of my pieces was featured on the twentieth-anniversary episode of The Mortified Podcast. I am a Lecturer in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins, where I earned my MFA in fiction and won a Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Excellence in Teaching Award in 2021. I am at work on my first novel.
